General Observation

By booking, the guest assures that he/she will comply with all valid booking instructions, guidelines and rules.

We only rent from a minimum age of 21 years old (accompanied children are welcome). Important note: In accordance with the provisions of Spanish law, we are required to register the details of all guests. Therefore, we need the following information upon arrival: full name, nationality, ID card number and place of issue. A copy of the birth certificate is required for children (family book) who do not yet have an ID. Please understand if these regulations have been tightened, especially due to Covid-19. We assure you that we will transmit your data to the competent authority (Guardia Civil) without exception.

Payment

At the time of booking, 30% of the total amount must be transferred. You will receive a confirmation of your reservation as soon as the deposit has been credited to our account. The remaining amount will be transferred 10 days prior to arrival. The above prices include taxes and fees to be paid. Payments owed to us on the site for any reason can only be settled by cash or Bizum. We do not accept credit card payments.

Cancellation

If you cancel at least 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded 100% of the amount paid so far. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival, we will refund 50%. Otherwise, you will not receive a refund.

Reserve change

In the event that you wish to change your reservation, the following applies: A new reservation is possible at any time within 7 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. In this case, we will inform you when the accommodation will be available again. We will try to check the availability of the accommodation according to your new booking request, but no guarantee is possible.

OTHER

Use of facilities
There are several ponds, a swimming pool and an adjacent lake on our property. All these facilities are not fenced and are therefore freely accessible, even for children, of course. Therefore, please note that use of the facilities is at your own risk and take seriously the duty of care for your children, as our Posada del Lago is not responsible for personal injury or damage to your personal property.

Use of electric and gas appliances
In our house (especially in the kitchen) there are several electronic and gas devices that, of course, you can use. However, if you do not know how a device works, we will be happy to explain it to you. Just talk to us.

Our right to cancel your reservation
We will only use our right to cancel your reservation if the accommodation is not available due to force majeure, governmental measures or other events over which we have no influence. If such cases occur, we will, of course, refund all payments made up to that point.

Invitations/events
In principle, you are allowed to invite people from your circle of acquaintances to an event (birthdays, weddings, family reunions) at our farm. However, the total number of participants allowed is limited to 25 people. An exception to this rule can only be made in consultation with the Lake Inn operator. We would also like to point out that our house has only one guest bathroom. For the use of all facilities we charge a fee of 10 euros per guest per day. The main tenant is fully responsible for his day guests and is also responsible for any damage caused by them.
Additional rules apply:
The volume of the stereo should be adjusted so that the noise does not disturb the neighbors. The consumption of food and beverages in the pool or in the immediate vicinity of the pool is strictly prohibited. Charcoal grills or wood fires are not allowed in temperatures above 30 degrees or in high winds.

Other notes
Our farm is located in a nature reserve with great flora and fauna! Because of this, the access from the entrance of Barranco Blanco to our house is only partially paved and other parts of the road are in poor condition. If you arrive by car, drive carefully. During the summer months until October 15, only authorized persons may access Barranco Blanco with motor vehicles. In case of control by security agents we will provide our certificate to access Posada del Lago. Smoking in the field is strictly prohibited. For smokers, we have designated areas on our terraces.

Accommodation is provided by a private host. For this reason, the current EU consumer protection law is not applicable.
